In line with the principle of community partnership and integration among various state institutions, and within the framework of its social responsibility, Eskan Bank organized a visit by its Sales & Corporate Communications Department to the Bahrain Diabetes Society. During the visit, a donation was presented to provide glucose measuring devices for children aged 14 and under who suffer from type 1 diabetes. This initiative reflects the Bank's commitment to supporting impactful health and humanitarian programs in the community.

This initiative aims to empower children with diabetes to accurately and regularly monitor their blood sugar levels, thereby improving their quality of life. These devices are crucial in preventing serious health complications that children may otherwise face without consistent monitoring.

During the visit, His Excellency Lieutenant General Doctor Sheikh Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Diabetes Society, expressed deep appreciation for the ongoing cooperation with Eskan Bank. He praised the Bank's role in providing vital medical support to children and affirmed that this type of institutional partnership reflects the level of community awareness and national responsibility embraced by financial institutions.

Mr. Abdulla Taleb, General Manager of Eskan Bank, affirmed that the initiative reinforces the values of giving and solidarity upheld by the Bank in all its community programs. He noted that the donation aims to provide tools enabling children to manage their health conditions with confidence and safety. He added, "At Eskan Bank, we are always keen to address community needs through impactful and sustainable partnerships, especially those benefiting vulnerable groups, such as sick children."

During the visit, the mechanism for utilizing medical sensors was presented, along with a detailed explanation of their role in improving daily monitoring. Additionally, the importance of continued collaboration between the banking and health sectors was emphasized to enhance community care and prevention initiatives.
